After rotator cuff repair you could consume this same level of arginine (10 grams) and perform a different set of exercises to induce the growth hormone release and quicker surgery recovery.  Perform leg exercises such as leg presses or even deep knee bends.


About 1 hour after taking 10 grams of arginine, perform 3 to 5 minutes of leg exercise.  If you did keep knee bends, try holding onto something for balance then lower yourself for a count of 5 and then raising back up for a count of 5.  Do 10 of these as a set.  That set will take about 1 minute 45 seconds.  Rest 2 minutes and repeat.  See more recommended workout routines.
